This Privacy Policy explains how Egensolve ("Egensolve", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you visit our website or engage our services.
Last updated: 5 September 2026
1. Who we are
Egensolve is a digital agency based in Cairo, Egypt, providing web development, applications, digital marketing, and brand identity services to clients in Egypt, the Gulf, and internationally. For any privacy question, contact us at [email protected]. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data.
2. Information we collect
- Contact enquiries. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
- Meeting bookings. When you book a call with us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, time zone, and any notes you add.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect your email address.
- Form protection. We use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people apart from bots on our forms. Google receives technical data about your device and your interaction with the page when you submit one.
- Usage & analytics. We plan to use privacy-friendly analytics (Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager). These are not active yet; when enabled they will only run with your consent. See our Cookie Policy.
- Technical data. Our servers automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to keep the site secure and operational.
We do not collect payment card details on this website. Any project payments are handled under a separate engagement agreement and, where applicable, through third-party payment providers.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiries and provide quotes or consultations.
- To deliver and manage services you engage us for.
- To send you our newsletter, where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To operate, secure, and improve our website.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases
We process your data on the basis of your consent (e.g. newsletter and non-essential cookies), the performance of a contract (delivering services you request), our legitimate interests (running and securing our business), and legal obligations.
5. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate — such as hosting, email delivery, and (once enabled) analytics providers — and only to the extent needed. These providers are bound to protect your data. We may also disclose data where required by law.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above: contact enquiries for up to 24 months after our last interaction, newsletter data until you unsubscribe, and records required for legal or accounting purposes for the period the law requires.
7. Your rights
Wherever you are located, we honour the following rights as a baseline: the right to access your data, to correct it, to request its deletion, to receive a portable copy, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
8. International clients & visitors
For clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states, we handle personal data in a manner consistent with applicable local data-protection laws. For visitors in the European Union, we apply the access, deletion, and portability rights described above as a safeguard.
9. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.
10. Children
Our website and services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
